Whoever wrote this garbage is full of crap. It is sensationalism directed to increase mistrust. Do you really believe that companies, regulators, brokerage houses, and institutions would give it any credence or let such abuse slide? Pseudo-knowledge is the great deceiver of the day. Just enough of substance to suck in a fool, but it won't wash. I assure you, every last share and every last penny can be accounted. If a company can't do that, they are candidates for delisting. The exchanges are especially hard on enforcing these rules as is the SEC. That's why we have the CUSIP # system and elaborate clearing house procedures. They have one hell of a lot more dough than "off-shore" manipulators and they have the enforcement powers of the FBI. There is hardly one accurate sentence in whole blurb. It is not worth my time to refute it in detail just like it isn't worth regulators to even bother reading it.
