absolutely!

I think an important point, that has been made already, is that with science, we don't have to come up with an alternate view when challenging a scientific theory. All we have to do is show where the theory is wrong. And one doesn't need to be a degreed scientist to identify misinformation or logical fallacies.

And I like your guidelines. I'd rather hear what the individuals have to say on the thread rather than putting expert up against expert like a pokemon challenge.
