maverick, You think Ascend has competition at the high end? Man does Cisco/Coms/Bay down below. Everybody and there brother is now making this stuff! I talked with Rockwell today. They have a new modem technology coming out. Its called "cdsl"(consumer digital subscriber line) maybe end of next year. Until then I guess the next best thing this spring will be the Shotgun technolgy duel analog modems 112kbs $200, Diamond will have them, I don't know who else. One modem 2 phone lines. JJ
