Why is the faith so different from the rest of China? <hong kong's achievement has far less to do with mq's supposed vvv and plenty to do with the people of hing kong, mostly cantonese, and enough hakka chinese, all of vcv faith. > Like the Finns migrating from Wales long ago, taking all the vowels with them, leaving Wales short of them and Finland with a surplus, it seems the British took the VVV to Hong Kong, leaving a shortage back at Blighty and now Hong Kong enjoys a big surplus of them [compared with others though in absolute terms it's still a horrid place very short of VVV]. Maybe all the Cantonese left Canton and went to Hong Kong? That seems unlikely given how many people are still in China and the difficulty of escaping to Hong Kong from Canton. Mqurice
