Their IDSL so far is a failure. Nobody is taking it seriously. They need to rehuddle and come up with something better. US West dropped their IDSL experiment with Ascend. ISDL is what Ascend calls it...its basiclly ISDN! Rockwell told me the first part. The person at Ascend I talked to had no knowledge of the US West experiment. I'm doudting its a failure. So, you will have to come up w/ more information to prove this/and source. What I understand I heard 3Com say: "if 56flex becomes the standard they will start making k56flex. If its a combination of the two they will ship you the upgraded software?" I think Rockwell's CDSL will be the next modem technology. JJ.
