Steve, Here is a little bit of logic. The short interest on IDX is over 1,000,000 shares. Last month it was about 750,000 shares. A couple of funds have very large short positions......much of which was added to just few weeks ago, at a price basis of 10.3........These folks have seen their profits go away in the last two trading sessions........and by now they may realize that the Soloman recommendation of "Buy"........puts a safety net under IDX and opens up the upside potential.......I believe Solomans 12 month target was originally $ 19.00 .....but discounted 5 cents for something or other......Asian market woes or currency junk...... We have said over and over....when folks decide to put a biometric stock in their portfollio....which one will they choose?...Well.....Here we go. The short funds are about to get their noses bloody.....because people are going to go with Identix. The Friday guys will be there....but it may be the 12.5s that they are trying to muscle down to............Tomorrow may see the Soloman news hit the internet and Newswire and we may see some very intelligent short covering.......And Thursdays,.......well, Thursdays have always been good IDX days. Identix is working on several large projects that, if sucessful in any one....could move the stock to twenty in a heartbeat. Anyone who has been on this thread for any length of time is fully aware of this.....as I believe Lehman and Soloman are........I wonder if we may be getting a little bit closer to one? Why any large fund would short a stock that has such a dominating position in their market along with large contract win potential....has always been a mystery to me. Identix has just too much going on to be a good short candidate. It is very nice to see these things finally happening......and the share price of Identix will get to the high teens shortly.....as that is where it belongs...you know it and I know it. bg ps. I'm sorry this post is not more upbeat........but we only got 1/3 the gain we should have today........IMO. pss. Even stale.....good is good. Puff, Puff........
