U.S. stock futures decline after Odumbama speech

    SYDNEY (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures fell back in Asian trading hours on Friday after U.S. president Barack Obama outlined plans to stimulate the jobs market, which will include larger payroll-tax cuts. Obama also said that the government would work with federal housing agencies to help homeowners refinance at lower interest rates. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures /quotes/zigman/1785993 DJ1U +0.24% traded down 35 points at 11,194.00. Nasdaq 100 futures /quotes/zigman/876546 ND1U -0.43% lost 8.50 points to 2,203.50 while S&P 500 futures /quotes/zigman/1277190 SP1U -0.72% declined 4.60 points to 1,175.80.
