Not only do people not have jobs but also now we are being subjected to a security threat.

You don't understand. Congress has jobs. Their paychecks haven't skipped a beat since the recession started. They don't feel any urgency.

Earlier this week, I posted an article by Cramer which stated that oil companies and gas stations are playing with us. The prices for NYMEX and Brent crude have come down significantly since last Spring. Yet, gas prices at the pump have come down only a few cents. After posting the article here, I sent Cramer's article to my congresspeople, asking what they were doing to address these issues.

This AM I got a boilerplate email back from Patty Murray's office that covers everything but the kitchen sink but never addresses the issues raised in Cramer's letter. I went ballistic and called Murray's office in DC. I got a call back from her office at 7:30 AM. The woman on the phone was very nice but she had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned Brent and NYMEX, margin calls and tying up oil. All she did was patronize me. It was infuriating.

I don't think they understand how angry Americans are. And even when they do, I don't think they understand what to do to fix things......or maybe they are overwhelmed....or maybe they are indifferent. Who can figure it out?

And then this evening I am watching AC360 and Erich Ericksen from Red State is on with a smug look on his face, saying that Obama is ineffective and doesn't really want to create jobs. He sounds no different to me than the lefties who are complaining.

Frankly, I am sick of ideologues on either side of the aisle. All they want to do is play their partisan games.
