Obama is a great speaker. If only his execution was at the same level. His $500 million dollar jobs programs sounds great. It makes a TON of sense to me that we should spend half of the yearly defense budget to create jobs we needed YESTERDAY.

The only fly in the ointment? He has to go to the (R) controlled House to get the money. They won't give it to him. He KNOWS this.

So, what is this really about? The 2012 presidential election. Obama will be able to claim that things would be better if the (R)'s had given him his jobs money. Which will be true. But, it won't create any actual jobs.
