I agree. I am making a real effort to listen to people when they start to attack Ron Paul. This morning I spoke with a guy and he said "he's an extremist and a nut" (pretty standard reply for any one that is not a Ron Paul fan) So this morning I asked the guy, what do you think he is so extreme about....He went into the whole issue of Ron Paul saying he would legalize drugs...... I asked him the difference between alcohol and grass being legal? He couldn't argue the point... and summarized saying " people are to stupid to make the decision.....and the government needs to make it for them." At that point I dropped the discussion. He is typical of the type of american that wants a strong government to be responsible for everyone and everything. My concern is how many americans actually want to have the government make all their decisions. I'm starting to think the US may need to break up. Those that want a small government on one side and those that want a big government on the other....but we all know that it would not be long before the big government self destructs......or attacks the small government group to confiscate all that they created, worked for.....very sad....
