Gold and the Dollar... The dollar has been on a breakout tear since August 30th stockcharts.com and if it manages to stay above the blue line @ 77 stockcharts.com it will have clear sailing with no resistance until 87-88, making it much more attractive as a "safe haven" alternative to gold (which seems currently limited by resistance @ $1900) despite its horrid fundamentals. Such is the sometimes perverse logic of the markets.
