RE: AGW

I am "flying" on bachelors and masters in mechanical engineering. I know a lot about chemistry, computers, numerical methods, physics and modeling. When people ask me if I "believe" in global warming or AGW, I say, 'I am sure that the C02 levels are up and perhaps the polar caps are shrinking. That is all very measurable. I am not able to have an opinion on the connections much less that whatever global warming exists is anthropomorphic. I would have to study all of the computer models - what is left in and what is left out.'

Please. Talking about global cooling by reducing SO2 in the atmosphere!??! How can anybody possibly predict this? Is there photochemistry going on with SO2 in the upper atmosphere. Are reactions temperature dependent. How much SO2 is washed out with rain water. On and on and on. None of this is going on in isolation. Do grass clippings release methane? Is t better to pave over the earth to reduce grass clippings? On and on.
