Covanta does burn MSW alright but they did NOT say they will burn the paper cellulose residue.

Assuming can get one into trouble! Or if not exactly trouble at least into a wrong assessment of what they are actually doing. I agree - burning COULD be involved and why Covanta did not say so is a puzzle. I am real good at solving puzzles and will solve this one when Covanta gets around to disclosing EXACTLY what they are doing.

I did notice in this thread somewhere that BIODIESEL production is a US Army need - if I read that correctly, so I 'assumed' that some sort of BIODIESEL might be produced from this Crane waste stream. But that was a WAG, but based on that US Army reference alongside the Crane-Covanta matter.
