more hilarity: krugman's piece on gold, in which he admits that barsky and summers work on Gibson's Paradox "weirdly never crossed my desk." WHAT AN IDIOT!

Pardon the all-caps but any alleged Nobelist economist who never heard of Barsky and Summers ground-breaking work on one of the most puzzling conundrums in all of macro economics deserves to be called a mouth-breathing IDIOT.

Jeez, I have heard of the work, know what it means for gold, and I am not a trained economist.

And the IDIOT still maintains that the money supply does not have anything to do with the POG. He's never heard of Jesse and his statistical analysis and certainly is clueless about the French book.

I am sorry for the rant but Krugman is incredibly and I do mean incredibly clueless and ignorant about gold.

Enjoy the stupidity; it's a Sunday afternoon here and a good laugh is in order before the carnage when the markets open.

i have a great deal of difficulty believing krugman since he and summers worked together. i cannot imagine that Gibson's Paradox never was mentioned.

maybe krugman is a secret gold bug deep in the closet but about to come out of it.
