Haim, I am not at all worried about admitting mistakes so was puzzled about what you meant. Fortunately, SI has the wonderful permanent recording facility and here is my specific and extended answer to your question: Message 27629993

Now you want to change the topic and point out that individuals doing the actual trading within companies like Lehman Bros were investing opm. Well, yes, trivially true. That's their job. But it looked more as though you were blaming the banks/banksters who were handling opm as though the financial institutions aka Wall Street had no skin in the game. I explained how they do and their shareholders were punished, and of course the Lehman losers did not get bonuses for failure when they were sold to Barclays so it's not true that the traders had no skin in the game.

Your anger at "Wall Street" has apparently sent you off the rails.

Why on Earth should I worry about admitting mistakes? It's not as though I was giving my normal double your money back guarantee. I haven't even done that with my GLD "Abandon Ship" warning. Nor even with my 2020 Little Ice Age warning. One of the reasons for spending time in SI is to expose ideas to the amazing range of high powered thinking available here so that one might escape one's grievous blunders thanks to the crowd sourced mind clearing. For example, partly due to spending time here, I bailed out of QCOM early last decade because it appeared the biotelecosmictechdot.com crunch was going to go further than I had expected it would do. I had waited for the crunch from in May 1999 had to wait until Y2K before the long-awaited crunch arrived. Many many good ideas and information resources have been available here, free!

This is a general 5 alarm warning.... sell GLD and gold now before it returns to the sooth price as predicted by your amazing Sooth Sayer, providing free, double your money back guarantees.
