Even in 1992 Bono had the shades, the leather, and looked too slick. Go back and check out the 1970s-80s vids. The problem for me is that after seeing these bands when they were nobodies I can't relate to the arena rock trappings. Holy Sh!t!!! YouTube actually has that show I was telling you about in Belgium that I was at in 1982. Here's the clip of Bono climbing up the light pole: youtube.com. Now I have to find the clip of him running through the crowd with that large banner you see at the start of the video. And keep pausing it to see if I see myself!
