A person could make a case Krugman does not belong in the same sentence with Feynman. He may not be at that level. But he is close, but the rest of that group do.

I often think how many people in the world can actually see in their minds eye how Einsteins relativity works. Not many. Everyone in that sentence could have, or did, IMO.

And I don't think Krugman filters his solutions through a fairly polarized political alliance.

His political philosophy is a reflection of who he is. What he knows. Just like everyone else. A persons politics is usually a reflection of how they see the world.

There is a difference though on how people arrive at their peception of the world.

Some people are given a reality in a script and live their lives perceiving reality through a script.

Other people form their reality out of their education. Krugman is in the latter category.
