Ray, re. Intel's Q4 earnings being worse than Q3 I believe that Intel's earnings are now in a significant downturn . The main reason being that if they keep cutting their prices by 40% every few months , their profit margins will become very thin . The only way they could preserve ther margins is by producing significant quantities of high end chips and convincing customers that they need these more expensive chips . Chips that unless you were told that you were the proud owner of a 300+mhz PII you would not know as the increase in speed was not readily noticeable , Brian
