The interesting thing to me about Ron Paul is that he cuts right to the basic philosophical differences. He has no sense of individuals embedded in a community, nor of collective responsibility within that community. It's all unalloyed, unvarnished, you pick it, individualism.

I didn't watch the debate; too busy watching the NFL. And, most likely, wouldn't have watched anyway. Much too much else to do.
