Are you suggesting that gold is likely a better performing hedge against inflation than silver? TIA My views on SLV are/were based upon how the Weekly PSAR trendline flipped upward, as well as the perception that SLV has lagged the rise in GLD. So it's a balance of Technical and Fundamental logic. But I must be honest that I'm not a PM fan. I just trade them when things start looking interesting on their charts. I personally believe we're more threatened by deflation than inflation. But I can see the usefulness of having GLD/SLV as a hedge. Right now I see GLD being technically at the top of its trading channel, and the USD threatening a upward breakout of it's descending Wedge. But that doesn't mean SLV won't have another day when the USD peaks from it's coming move. The fact that it flipped its weekly PSAR is encouraging for it, so long as it doesn't flip it back downward again. Hawk
