You think the environment is on the minds of the people now, leave alone being at the top of the list of people's mind? Since we are a product of nature and return to nature after our existence, it is nature who controls us and not the other way around. You sound like those who are against eating anything that has or may produce life which includes not only meats but also things like potatoes, onions, carrots and garlic.
