I finally sold my MU short position at $24 on Tuesday. I still think they are going to go to the teens but I decided that I didn't want to play around with them any longer. You're right that even though I came out allright in the end (in that I didn't lose money), I lost the opportunity cost for all those months plus Schwab tied up my cash (and didn't pay interest on it) for all those months my short price was below the market price. I wouldn't do it again. BTW, I bought the short position in Jun 96 at $28.5.
