The payroll tax funds social security and medicare which are direct benefits the individual will get back one day.Problem is even with payroll tax the average American is only paying about 70% of what he gets back from social security and 20% of what he gets from medicare.The President wants to give society their own doctors now and again at least 50% will get more than they pay in.Amongst Americas many lies is we are more capitalist-we are Socialist to the point it will no longer be able to be sustained.No worry,like Brazil this lie can no longer be lived.Check mate America.Raise my taxes which are over 50% on last $ and I dont work.If I had it to do over again I would have worked hard but only 6 months a year(am about 50 and as of next year will be dropping to 30 hours a week and only working 6 months a year).I have already taught my kids what the next 20 years will look like.Told my dhgt Vetarinary School in US not worth it unless it is your absolute passion.Work smart not hard is the way to do it in USA.I dont mind giving money away but to those who really need it and as I choose.Not to 62 year old healthy adults walking the streets of Fort Lauderdale with atrophying brains and minds and self interested lives living on my dollar.Not to Wall Street bankers and financial types,not Union slugs,not to teachers who dont teach,not to overpaid government workers,not to homeland security thugs.All these, folks have a right to do what they do but all of society but the poor and ill should at least pay their way on the basics: like non disability retirement and general health care If you want to have the benefits of the European you must live like the European.If that is the way Americans want to go I will adapt.By the way,Europeans cant even continue to live like they are.Yes true socialism povery but equality for allBring it on Mr President
