Nice to see Verlander having made the transition from flame-thrower to pitcher...and gain the recognition of excellence now that his game has matured. It's not a given that flame-throwers can learn to pitch. Man, Verlander is fun to watch! Detroit looks to be getting stronger at the right time as the late season Fister acquisition kicks in! They will be an interesting contender in post season play, especially as Yanks and Bosox struggle with their starting rotations.
