I don't understand why these guys keep saying that customer acceptance of the technology is still an issue. I guess it might be with some customers that are not technology-oriented. Still, I look at the rate that WinStar has been signing customers (I'm one of them) and to me it looks like a non-issue. Most people are so anxious to put a stake through the heart of their local RBOC that they would use tin cans and string if it was reliable. Given that this technology has 99.999% reliability, and that companies like Pacific Bell have ordered thousands of wireless shots, I think it's only a matter of time before people stop talking about it altogether. I will be interested to see how things go with TGNT. I also believe that this market is plenty big for more than one provider. I think I remember that WinStar's business plan accounted for at least two other major providers. Still, I encourage anyone thinking about jumping in to look at WinStar's chart for the past couple of years. The stock got up to around 35 a year and a half ago then drifted down to 10 as it became apparent that earnings were quite a ways out. Then over the past six months, a string of fortuitous events has brought the loss inflection point in much closer. Losses will peak in Q4 this year and start to ramp down from there. This is exciting stuff. I guess my point is that there may be a few opportunities to get in to TGNT. Given all the work that they have in front of them, it's not unreasonable to expect that a investors lacking vision and patience could get discouraged and bring the price down, creating opportunities for investors that do have those characteristics.

For anyone that wants to look at a company with the potential to become the WinStar/Teligent of Eastern Europe and Asia...check out MMG. A $10 stock that has done nothing but move sideways for a year. But check out their technology, strategy and news stories over the past year. These guys are on a mission. Cheers!
