Thanks for the reference to the news item. I hadn't seen it. I struggling to build a landscape view of this palying field, but don't have it yet. As I see it, first on the list of progressively invasive procedures is the old angioplasy,followed by stents, then MID-CAB, then Heartport, then the traditional by-pass procedure -- a continuum of available procedures, with several competitors capturing market share at each stage. What's the population that needs some kind of procedure, and what are the distribution of entry points and progressive steps taken by patients in the above continuum of available procedures? This would be a neat flow diagram to have. Any clue?
