It's horrifying. My own sister told me that she became convinced AGW was at best a myth when her local weather guy said so. I pointed out that he was a TV weatherman, and only conversant with meteorology and not climatology. She said that you have to study climatology to get a degree in meteorology. What can you do? Belief is stronger than facts.
