People living in poverty in the US have at least one car, air conditioning, two color TVs, cable, cell phones, high speed internet, DVD player, Xbox or PlayStation. Not to mention basics that almost go without mentioning like refrigerator, microwave, clothes washer, clothes dryer, etc. Most have personal computers, big screen TV, TiVO.

They have a roof over their heads, they have enough food to eat, they have clean clothing, they have good education available to them whether they want it or not.

Hard for me to grasp how this is poverty. Sorry.
