Tell IV posters that they can join SI free, but this offer is only guaranteed for the next 24 hours, may be withdrawn at any time, and is only good for the first 5000 members. Do not tell them that SI will be free for the foreseeable future, nothing in life lasts forever anyhow, and I doubt there are even 1000 active IV members let alone 5000. It's all about the marketing! But wait, there's more. If they act now, we'll also throw in a free moderated thread of their choice. They just need to create it and voila!

But in all seriousness, the more quality IV folks that come over to SI, the better the quality of SI. Even better, if there's any feature IV has that SI does not of any value, I'm sure SI Brad will have that duplicated before their SI membership ink is even dry.

And if even that doesn't work, tell them SI will offer them 5x their money back if not completely satisfied.
