iShares S&P/TSX Venture to list on TSX Sept. 19

iShares S&P/TSX Venture Index Fund will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange as an industrial issuer at the open on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, according to the TSX. As in an April 11, 2011, prospectus, the fund plans to sell 100,000 units at $20 each, raising $2-million. The fund will trade under symbol XVX and Cusip No. 46431Q 10 4, reports the exchange. The manager and trustee of the fund will be BlackRock Asset Management Canada Ltd. The fund will offer units on a continuous basis and there is no maximum number of units that it may issue. The fund expects to pay quarterly distributions. The fund seeks to provide income by replicating the performance of the S&P/TSX Venture Select Index, net of expenses.
