Your tradeable citizenship concept is flawed. Young educated immigrants add to a country much more value than they subtract by using its existing infrastructure. It costs a lot to raise and educate a child in developed countries. Do you think the US would have been better off if it required that the Jewish refugees from pre WWII Europe had to pay a hefty sum to emigrate?
