Joe, Kennedy, and other threaders, in response to Joe's question each of us should do some brainstorming and strategic planning like Joe has recognized and suggested. IMO, we clearly need to clearly state: (1) where we are at, (2) where we want to go and (3) how are we going to get to where we want to be.
I can see us clearly defining the problem, then (2) listing the restraining forces, and (3) driving forces which will allow us to achieve our objective. This is a full time task which most of us would not want to take our time to resolve the problem. Hell, we at a time in our life received an excellent salary to resolving such problems and achieve corporate goals.
I suggest that we continue to do some research and reflection, first reflecting on the problem, then those forces which have the tendency to block our achievement, i.e. globalization, culture restraints, economic restraints, pure capitalism vs socialism, moral restraints, etc.
I am currently going to the fitness center. I will reflect on your suggestions and get back with you.
