No, Heineken is Dutch as well! Are you getting the sense that Belgium hasn't marketed itself too well? Are they a soccer powerhouse? No. Do they have their own language? No (they speak either French or Flemish, depending on the region). Can you name a beer from there? Doubtful. Do they ever win Olympic gold medals in a particular sport? Is flower growing a sport? Even then, Holland would have them beat.

I think the most memorable non-musical thing I did there was visit the battlefield of Waterloo, where Napoleon made his last stand, which also happened to be my girlfriend's home town. But even that was just one big open space. If Gloop is to be believed, it's probably now just one big pot farm. BTW, even the hit song Waterloo was sung by Abba-- a Swedish band!
