Hello Eddie, Corel MAY capture the lions share of the home market BUT no way the corporate workplace.

We for one recently purchased a license(20,000) of MSFT Office and dropped WP, Harvard graphics, lotus 1-2-3 from our list even though Corel's package is about 1/5 - 1/4 the cost of the MSFT suite.

It is Windows 95/NT that is the driving force behind our decision to move to MSFT Office besides the quality of their product. No IT manager wants to be faced with Windows software compatability issues when millions of $$ are at stake.

V.K

P.S The information I quoted re: Corel and the Department of Defense came from the September 9th/96 issue of INFO-WORLD Canada.

It also mentions that a recent survey in Canada found that not many companies will be migrating to NT or NW 4.x but will stay with NW 3.x. It does mention however users perceive NW 4.x an extension of NW 3.x file and print server and sights that as the main reason why users are not taking it seriously. To quote: "The survey showed strong interest and a strong increase in NT since the last report".
