Hi V.K...>>MSFT Exchange Server will no doubt become the defacto standard. It runs on NT of all things. We in particular are planning an Exchange implementation by year end.<<

I am tired of reading your unsubstanciated crap. You either give opinions based on some substance or don't waste our time with your nonsense.

From the the thread about AAPL, NOVL, and MSFT

>>ComputerWorld stuff follows.....
Users have voiced concern about Exchange's scalability, administration and 16G-byte server limit. But they are still plowing ahead with plans to install thousands of user licenses over the next year. Microsoft claims there are 750,000 users running Exchange right now.<<

1. Assuming MSFT is truthful, Notes has 15M users, and GroupWise has 7M users, How did you reach the conclusion that Exchange will become the de facto standard?.

2. Whether the outfit you work for is going to implement Exchange, Notes, or GroupWise, or use, NT, Unix, NetWare, Vines,...etc., it does not change the overall picture. Writing this stuff is a waste of our time and yours.

I read the board to get info and/or thoughtful opinions, not just opinions. May I suggest that you keep your unsupported opinions to yourself.

Regards

Salah
