I think this is an act of desperation on Corel. According to their website, Corel has only $7 million in CASH left! How can they survive? To compare, MSFT has $7 BILLION in cash/ short-term investments. Heck, MSFT could buy all of COREL with just a few weeks' worth of profits. >undercut Microsoft's profitability on their suites. In fact, Microsoft is wondering how Corel will make any money on this new deal.
