Picture taken from Government Hill Strade, Charlotte Amalie, St.Thomas, yes photo was taken in Wartime 40s, as cars belie:) i lived their in the 60s, and the arch to the left leads to another stair climb to where a special friend lived, who is now deceased. i was also divorced here, also- had more drama here tha to last a lifetime--. In my time there i never saw a fat person, except for one boy of about 12 that must had a metabolism problem, as moving around Charlotte Amalie was one constant exercise in climbing up and down, if fat you die.
