I'm saying that the most powerful tool for job creation is the free market, not government "stimulus" programs.

Under normal circumstances i know what you mean....(although the government, fed and otherwise, is the single largest employer in the union)...no one is talking about replacing typical market dynamics with government demand...these stimuli are finite in dollars and timing and are meant to try to restore consumer confidence in an attempt to grease the demand engine...

Government can help ease the burden on both workers and business, but government cannot create jobs nor can government create demand.

Dude, that is clearly not true...as an example, if we agree that displaced workers need to be supported through extended unemployment periods and if we agree that there is work to be done in society, the two can meet to the benefit of both...
