Yes. I like diversification.. and this one is fun to do and allow me to stay healthy. Something I neglected in the past. That is more the reason why I have this hobby.

But will food really become a hard local currency one of these days... could be. Combine peak oil and collapse of the current monetary system and you have the good reciepe.
