No, it doesn't.
You know there was this very successful company called Amazon. They started as a bookstore. Then they started selling songs online. And groceries. And video game downloads. And streaming movies. And then they got this bright idea: Most companies that are great at something ... do not become great at new things people want... they realized that books and movies and songs are really becoming ten different businesses with very different cost structures, that need to be marketed differently, and they need to let each grow and operate independently...so websites will not be integrated and you will have ten entries on your credit card statement
So Amazon split into ten different companies and conquered the world.
.....
actually, no, stop, rewind.
Amazon was smart and did not split into ten different companies and conquered the world. Cause, you know, I might come to my wish list to buy a book and see an interesting MP3 download and then while buying a DVD decide to check the streaming version of the old episode of the show ... eh I need popcorn too, let's get it ordered, but I need it fast, so let's subscribe to Amazon Prime... oh, free streaming stuff... two hours and $200 later ... ;)
