The more I think about what Netflix did here, the more I realize how greed can destroy a company. Whoever put this new pricing structure in place, along with those in upper management, who approved it, should step down and resign.
The early success of Netflix was founded upon the much cheaper alternative to going out to the rip off movie theaters where the price of a ticket was skyrocketing, along with the price of popcorn. Later on, many others gave up pay TV for the cheaper Netflix DVD and Roku streaming option.
It amazes me that Netflix thought that most people would gladly accept the 100 percent price increase. The people running Netflix must have been smoking crack to think its subscribers would put up with that. I immediately cancelled the streaming service back in July when Netflix first informed me of the outrageous increase. Maybe Netflix was too busy living on another planet to think its subscribers wouldn't mind the price increase. LOL
