And before the stimulus, GDP was dropping by 8 percent per quarter and the country was losing 700,000 jobs a month! Do you not remember three years ago?

I very much doubt the stimulus (signed mid Feb) had any effect before July 09.
Are you claiming the stimulus was near instantaneous? All I recall was how so little of it was spent for such a long time. Tell us where the money went to have such an instantaneous effect. Must have missed it myself. All the claims I heard said the largest effect would not occur til 2010. By fourth quarter 2009, the GDP had already turned positive. It was barely negative in the 3rd quarter 2009. Enlighten us.
