Gecko systems will soon leave R&D and enter the production stage with it's CareBot, a personal companion robot that will be marketed to families who are caring for elderly loved ones who need special assistance to help them stay independent and secure in a home environment. The CareBot will help seniors stay independent and in their own homes longer. When the elderly or disabled are living with family it will relieve caregivers of routine tasks and supervision so that the entire family can enjoy more quality time.
