Kai and thread - Nice discussion on the PC/TV, but what about another thing that Eckhard mentioned and that I find intriguing - the home server? At Comdex he mentioned that another thing he sees is the home server in the basement, powering cheap devices all over the house and providing web access via wireless transmission. Since my wife and I both work from home (OK - no 'are you at each other's throats jokes!'), I would find it very useful. These days, we have a couple of PC's in several rooms, and I move a laptop around and plug in when I need to. This concept seems sound, what do all of you think? Hey, I read in Business Week that even Martha Stewart has a server in her house, (although she hasn't featured it on her show as far as I know!)
