World sanctioned but not approved by the US Congress. As to the Republican response, Ron Paul would probably applaud it. The rest of the party would be best served by say nothing. I don't think it would be of any political benefit to them advocate another war.

As to the healthcare law, Obama stated that it would not add to the deficit. This is the most ridiculous claim he has made since assuming office.
