Yep, but Rick Sherlund is stepping up. Rick is a good guy and an ethical one as well. I doubt he would stake his reputation on an upgrade without a full look at things. the goldman call is that they're gonna hire an auditor soon. I also think goldman got a look at the pipeline, sounds like there's substantial success coming in telco and healthcare.

I still like pega's technology alot. I'm not a cfa though, this accounting seems very strange. I'd love to know when e&y and the bankers found out about pega's payment (payoff? swap?) to first data in september. As a former shareholder, I didn't know about it.

Another conflict: Trefler rants and raves about the $49 million commitment from fdc, with more to come from royalties. HOWEVER, he stated the "meltdown" figure of $18 million from first data. What's the difference? Trefler is a likable guy, is he trustworthy?

clam is this worth the risk?

my advisors would probably tell me to stay away and watch...
