You make some very good points about GeckoSystems' CareBot. The company has a "first mover" opportunity because I have not been able to find any other robot company doing in-home trials for an eldercare robot. The CareBot will give the family peace of mind by being able to look in on their elderly relative and keep them out of an assisted living or nursing home facility. I also like the point of one hospital stay possibly being averted with the CareBot monitoring the person at home. The insurance companies should love that!
