Thanks from the tales from the trenches. Nothing like to get the real picture from someone who's involved.

I think in this real estate mess, there might have been quite a few people who looked to what the US was at that moment and thought they could make a kill forever. They might not have had a frame of reference, being them recent immigrants or people who were acting based on hearsay.

They should go to you BEFORE entering into any deal and asked what the consequences were. But they were getting the picture from realtors, TV ads and hearsay.
