I did suggest to her that she should not take her kids to McDonald's but to a grocery store and get a nice salad from the salad bar. We have good salad bars around here. Lots of different kinds of vegetables and lean protein. I wish I had never taken my own kids to McDonald's. Fast food is a scourge, one of the Horsemen of the 21st century apocalypse, causing obesity, diabetes, heart disease. Famine in the midst of plenty.
