Had drinks with Faber n dinner w/ rest of the boyz this closing night of the CLSA conference. Apparently all the macro presentations were bearish. The managers and macro folks I respect championed different approaches to navigate the troubles, but yieldless gold seemed common to all. One stated approach, after folks listened to Napier, was to go play Russian roulette w/ an automatic pistol and get it over with. One of the popular preso was done by GATA. First time in mainstream conference in HK.
